Originally formed in the early 90s by Billy Childish as a backing band of sorts
for the Thee Headcoats, Thee Headcoatees, featuring Holly Golightly, played
a rousing brand of garage rock filled with swagger that, in my opinion, far
surpassed the band they were formed to support. Performing mostly songs
written by Billy, they play hip-swaying melodies over some heavy, head-
nodding rhythms with tasty, overdriven guitar and loads of sass.
