Round And Round Records has been active as a physical store since 2008. Its motto is, was and forever shall be: NO BARRIERS. Yes, we have the best selection of Krautrock, Italian prog and avant-jazz in Melbourne, but our goal has always been to cover the whole gamut of recorded sound: from million-selling popsters to the deepest underground artists, from Bill Evans to Charles Mingus, Causa Sui and Electric Wizard to Thin Lizzy and King Crimson, Faust to Kraftwerk, David Bowie and Frank Zappa to New Order and Talking Heads, Franco Battiato to Joni Mitchell, Ed Kuepper to AC/DC, Phoebe Bridgers and Wire to Alice Coltrane and Taylor Swift...

The store is a mix of new and secondhand vinyl - 12"s, 10"s and 7"s. Vinyl is what we grew up on, and it's what we continue to play. 

We get new shipments of local and import goods almost every day, as well as new batches of secondhand goods on a weekly basis. If you're looking for something in particular, by all means let us know. If it's not in stock we'll try to get it in. The records listed here on this site are just a tiny sample of current favourites.

For mailorder, we ship the goods the day we receive payment and we always pack the records with great care so you receive them in excellent condition. In short: we know how to pack a record so it lands on your doorstep in pristine condition.

At this stage we're only shipping to Australia, but if you're from overseas, and are interested in getting something we stock, please write and I'm sure we can work it out.

The store is located at 556 Sydney Road, Brunswick, in the inner north of Melbourne. We're open 7 days a week: Mon - Wed 10 AM - 5 PM, Thu - Fri 10 - 6 PM, Saturday 10 - 6 PM and Sunday 10 - 5. There's three of us behind the shop - Jeff, Joe and Dave - and collectively we have over a century of musical obsessions between us, so drop in and say hello...
