The British contribution to the early 21st century's garage rock revival was led by Pete & Carl's addictive stew of catchy Cockney drawling and bouncy, aggressive guitars, mixing bits and bobs of British Invasion, mod, punk, and Britpop with the sound of their contemporaries. It all came together on their eponymous second LP from 2004.
