The Lemonheads - It's a Shame About Ray LP

Evan Dando's Boston college-rockers' fifth album from 1992 was their deceptively sunny breakthrough thanks to that Simon & Garfunkel cover. His rough-edged power pop
leanings were a sort of exuberant and charming riposte to the grunge scene. There's an emotional frailty at the heart of these swift and memorable little songs that's actually improved with age.
