The Handover - New Old Medicine LP

The trio of Aly Eissa (oud), Ayman Asfour (violin), and Jonas Cambien (vintage organ/synth) make beautiful music as The Handover. This second set for the always reliable Sublime Frequencies label is one long piece that combines Egyptian and Arabic folk music with psychedelic improvisation, expanding outward into cosmic textures and dark hypnotic grooves. Wonderful!
