Steve Hiett - Down On The Road By The Beach LP

A reissue of this incredibly rare album from 1983 that was only released in Japan at the time. Hiett was a UK photographer well known in his field, and this recording sees him indulging in his Beach Boys obsessions, mixing a sun-drenched LA vibe with lush ambience and sparse post-punk sensibilities. It's a one-of-a-kind listening experience. This deluxe reissue on the great Efficient Space label comes housed in a gatefold sleeve with huge full-colur booklet.
