Veteran bluesman Burnside was all the rage in the 1990s after the
good folks at Fat Possum Records rediscovered him and brought
him to a whole new generation of fans. Rough and authentic,
unadorned by studio gloss, he was the real deal. Mr. Wizard from
1997 was recorded at Junior Kimbrough's juke joint, and presents
a great picture of his raw-assed blues.
