Lena Platonos took a leading role in the electronic music scene in
the '80s, her work an inspiration for Greek electronic musicians in
later decades. Released in 1985, ‘Γκάλοπ’ (‘Gallop’) was her second
record that she solely composed, produced and sang, exclusively
using analog synthesizers and the iconic Roland TR-808 drum
machine, with Lena's marvellously deadpan voice on top.
