Johann Johannsson and Echo Collective - 12 Conversations with Thilo Heinzmann LP

Echo Collective collaborated with the late Icelandic composer Jóhann Jóhannsson to record 12 Conversations with Thilo Heinzmann, released in 2019. The album features a 12-movement string quartet work exploring art and, unlike Jóhannsson’s electronic work, focuses on minimalist, Baroque-influenced acoustic compositions. It is a highly acclaimed, intimate, and often melancholic piece.
