Hiroshi Yoshimura - Green LP

The Japanese ambient pioneer's 1986 cult classic, Green, is a minimal new age wonder, featuring tasteful synth work of the softly bubbling variety. Yoshimura was one of the central figures of kankyō ongaku, or 'environmental music' - a homegrown style that mixed traditional Japanese stylings with Western influences like Brian Eno and Erik Satie.
