One of the most popular bands in Mogadishu in the 1980s, The Dur-Dur Band were representative of Somalia's fantastic music scene before civil war tore it apart. Incorporating influences from traditional Somalian music alongside Phil Collins(!) and Michael Jackson, they played a groovy style of party music which is boss from start to finish. Awesome!
