Goatlord was originally intended to be Darkthrone's second album,
however the band changed direction overnight from death metal
to black metal leaving this demo unreleased. It was a real step-
forward into experimental and atmospheric death metal and would
have benefitted from studio embellishments, but here it is in
its raw, lo-fi state; a moment lost to time.
