ECM label under his belt. Much of this could easily pass for an ECM
recording - that sparse, cold and very Scandinavian sound Manfred
Eicher has perfected, though Wallumrod and his quintet get a bit
more abstract, using silence and ambient tones as their own
instruments. Wonderful experimental Nordic jazz.
