Kinobe's wonderful 1999 debut starts with heavy beats and a
fine turn by gentleman rapper Benjamin Zephaniah before
settling into an excellent downtempo mix of languid electronica
and sampledelic wizardry. The dynamic duo of Mark Blackburn
and Julius Walters would never hit these heights again but this
is an album worth returning to.
