Recorded 3 years before Spiderland, this is a very different LP indeed. No slo-mo sounds, more angular post-hardcore with screeching, metallic guitars. Obviously heavily influenced by Big Black, there's also a heavy dose of (latter) Black Flag, King Crimson and even Voivod present here. Pretty amazing stuff! The debut LP from 1988 by these Louisville post-rock legends.
