Producer John Leckie smooths out some of the rough edges for
the Fall's biggest tilt towards the mainstream. It's hardly slick
80's pop though, and the new pop sensibility only serves to
highlight the album's more dissonant moments, making
TNSG a firm favourite amongst Fall fans.
