Oren Ambarchi - Simian Angel LP

Local wunderkind (now an ex-pat) and Wire magazine cover star does GREAT work on this set. Featuring Zorn percussionist Cyro Baptista, it features two long tracks and sees a heavy influence from "the ECM sound" (a big Oren influence) throughout. Beautiful electronic ambience mixed with subtle Latin beats, it's one of the best, most engaging albums of 2019.
