Irma Thomas - In Between Tears LP

Irma's excellent 1973 set for BASF found the New Orleans
legend teamed with producer Jerry "Swamp Dogg" Williams
and guitarist Duane Allman, creating a lost classic that captures
deep soul at its most poignant and resonant. World-weary
melancholy and earthy arrangements are the name of the game
here. Recommended!
