Brad Mehldau - Finding Gabriel 2LP

One of the best albums of 2019! Finding Gabriel saw NYC veteran jazz pianist stretching his musical wings further. This is a "jazz" album, but it's kinda not. It mixes elements of spiritual jazz with electronica and avant-rock, throws in a good dose of politics and makes something really special. If you're a fan of the current wave of UK jazz (Comet Is Coming, Ill Considered, etc.), then it will be your bag. You simply have to hear it. Highly recommended!
