This Tuareg band was founded in 2016 by Fatou Seidi Ghali and
other daughters of Illighadad, a village in the Sahara Desert in Niger.
Their sound draws on the traditional village choral chants of the
region, coupled with Agadez desert blues. Here they are live in
New York in 2019.
