In 1982, Iwamoto, armed with a guitar and drum machine, roped in a bass-playing
friend to record some post-punk tunes that were released in a tiny quantity on ALM
(the label responsible for East Bionic Symphonia, among other treats from the under-
ground). It's since become highly collectible, a near-perfect slice of raw and real post-
punk with real charm and heart. There's an iconic cover of "Love Will Tear Us Apart",
too, with all the gravitas of the original. For this reissue you get a second (and better)
mix of "Love..." along with some live stuff that's equally as good.
