After an undiagnosed illness caused the loss of several basic abilities
that had to be re-learned, Augustine set about writing this album about
the fragility of life. Roping in a handful of collaborators (including a
harpist!) for the first time in years, the Californian has crafted a
record of real substance, with poignant lyrics floating alongside
gently psychedelic melodies and flourishes.
