Repress of this brilliant hip hop album from Billy, a NY rapper, and Kenny, an LA producer, that's sits right at the top of the heap of conscious rap records. With Woods' dense, metaphorical lyrics perfectly mated to Segal's dark, dense, and abstract beats, the two create urban soundscapes filled with heavy emotional content and damn-cool turns of phrase. Perhaps my favourite hip hop album of the past decade, this one sinks deep into your soul further with each listen.
