Gareth Williams and Mary Currie - Flaming Tunes LP

Gareth from This Heat and his childhood friend spent a bunch of time in Gareth's home studio after she'd dropped her child at a nursery, creating minimal rhythms, noisy vignettes and lo-fi pop songs that Gareth would stay up late moulding into these gorgeous tunes, originally released on cassette in 1985. Full of moving, personal, experimental/DIY mini-masterpieces that are truly captivating. Re-reissue of the year!
