Zero Boys - Vicious Circle LP

Reissue of this totally crucial slice of early American hardcore punk by Indiana's finest. The Zero Boys should have been HUGE, at least as big as the Dead Kennedys or Black Flag, but they were in the wrong place at the wrong time, or maybe just didn't have the ambition, but this self-released/produced album is a masterpiece. Extremely well-produced and played (singer Paul Mahern would later become a renowned music engineer and lecturer), it sounds like a mix of the Descendents, Ramones and Minor Threat. SO DAMN GOOD.
