In Wes Anderson's Life Aquatic, Seu Jorge sang covers, in Portuguese,
of classic David Bowie songs. His voice, nuanced and capable, is a
powerful instrument and he uses it well here. The best of both worlds,
Cru's style of samba-funk is thoroughly modern, particularly in
terms of its vibrant production, yet still harks back to classic Brazilian
albums of the 1970s. Terrific stuff!
