The Fall - Levitate 2LP

Deluxe, heavy-duty edition of this much aunderappreciated Fall album from 1997. Admittedly, it was easy to skip over Fall albums at the time, when it felt like Mark E. Smith was churning them out like factory fodder, but a keen listen indicates that there was much to be had from this period (and not just Levitate!). There's some electronica influences here, and still a big swag of Fall-style rambunctious rock & roll. It is, quite simply, ANOTHER GREAT FALL ALBUM.
