Okyerema Asante - Drum Message 2LP

Ghanaian master percussionist Okyerema Asante serves up a drum-fueled 
masterclass from 1977. Asante met Plunky and Oneness of Juju while
touring with Hugh Masekela in the early seventies, so the band were a
natural fit to back him here, alongside Brian Jackson. A killer set that
leans hard into African drumming, with jazzy arrangements and an
experimental heart.
