How does one give this record justice in such a brief space? They don't .For moi, it's a Top 10 Desert Island Disc, no matter what the clatic conditions of said island are. 1977's Marquee Moon is a goddman masterpiece, and I won't hear any different. The twin guitar leads, the tight-as-a-nun's-bun rhythm section, the TITLE TRACK. It's the best punk-not-punk recording ever. This 2LP edition comes with alternate takes and the "Little Johnny Jewel" 12". You need it. We need it. WE ALL NEED IT!!
