Spike In Vain were hardcore punk band from Ohio in the early/mid
'80s who featured members who later went onto My Dad Is Dead,
Prisonshake and others. This set is basically their second album from
the mid '80s that was never released at the time. Like many HC bands
of the day, they were expanding their musical palette, incorporating
some roots influences into the thrash. Great post-hardcore sounds,
recommended to Gun Club fans.
