Toqui - Wild Owl LP

The brainchild of local lad Oscar France, Toqui's debut set
is a rather splendid blend of modern classical and spiritual
jazz, with cello, trumpet, bassoon and clarinet all adding
colour to France's piano-led compositions. Shades of Penguin
Cafe and the more yearning side of the ECM label inform
this excellent set.
