Wow! This here is the brand new album from Steve Wynn's long-running LA garage/psych/rock band who debuted in 1982 with their amazing Days Of Wine & Roses album, pioneered the sound of the Paisley Underground and, despite very long breaks in between, are still going strong in 2020. In fact, this album is fantastic, a perfectly logical meeting point of what the band should sound like in 2020. Lush psych-pop meets extended Kraut drive (especially on the 20-minute track, "The Regulator") meets Velvets groove. A real surprise and one of our fave albums of 2020 thus far. Excellent!
